Senior and Welfare Tutor Vacancies for research students and other postgraduates.

Applications are invited from research students and postgraduates who wish to be considered for one of the following roles:

  • Senior Resident/Resident Tutor- Treforest Campus
  • Welfare Tutor-Cardiff
  • Welfare Tutor-Newport

The Resident and Welfare Tutors will operate at all times within the established Confidentiality Framework of the Department of Student Services and is expected to behave at all times in such a way as to maintain the professional integrity of the service. Resident and Welfare Tutors are not employees of the University, Tutors will be expected to sign a license to occupancy agreement which is directly linked to the duties and responsibilities associated with their role. Resident and Welfare Tutors are expected to be permanently resident during term time.

The current provision for Senior Resident and Welfare Tutors is a self-contained flat/Studio Apartment including utility charges.
