Dr Elaine Huntley

Graduate School Manager

Elaine provides expert advice, guidance and support to all those involved with postgraduate research students on University processes, procedures and regulations. As Graduate School Manager Elaine’s role involves identifying and disseminating good practice in the delivery of postgraduate research degrees and delivering training for postgraduate research students and supervisors. Sally Davies

Graduate School Examinations Officer

Sally is clerk to the University’s Research Programmes Sub Committee (RPSC), providing full administrative support for the appointment of examiners, reviewing examiner reports, awarding research degrees across the University, identifying and disseminating good practice in the delivery of research degrees and supporting the University’s commitment to research. Sally has specialist knowledge of University Regulations and Procedures relating to postgraduate research degree programmes and provides advice and guidance to candidates, academic and administrative staff, examiners and supervisors. On behalf of RPSC monitors registration, progress boards, supervision and completion rates periodically for internal and external purposes.

Alison Crudgington

Graduate School Officer

Alison is secretary to the Faculty Research Programmes Committees and Progress Board for the Faculty of Business and Society (FBS). She has responsibility for research applications, enrolment and annual monitoring of research students for the faculty and also advises staff and students about transfer from MPhil to PhD and anything else relating to research student progression.

Llinos Spargo

Graduate School Co-ordinator

Llinos co-ordinates and delivers training for students and supervisors as part of her Graduate School role. She is secretary to the Faculty Research Programmes Committees and Progress Boards for the Faculty of Computing, Engineering & Science (CES). Llinos has responsibility for research applications, enrolment and annual monitoring of research students for her Faculty and advises staff and students about transfer from MPhil to PhD and anything relating to research student progression.

Jane MacCuish

Graduate School Officer

She has responsibility for research applications, enrolment and annual monitoring of research students for both faculties where she advises staff and students about transfer from MPhil to PhD and anything relating to research student progression.
